Technical Sales Manager

One of the company's key divisions specializes in the development and commercialization of specialized mineral products for a range of applications. This division is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a talented and driven sales professional to join their North American team.

Position Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Minerals Sales Manager to develop and expand business within the North American market. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and developing client relationships to negotiating contracts and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be supported by a strong team of technical, marketing, logistics, and quality professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth targets within the assigned region.

  • Analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and assess the competitive landscape.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively prospecting for new business.

  • Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Manage the order and delivery process to provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely fulfillment.

  • Maintain accurate sales records and customer information within the company's CRM system.

  • Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering (Chemistry, Natural Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field) is preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in technical sales within an industrial sector for 4-5 years (e.g., chemical, commodities).

  • For candidates with a business/sales degree, a strong technical aptitude and proven technical sales experience are essential.

  • Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency in English is required.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

  • Willingness to travel regularly within North America and occasionally internationally.
